Kasya Privacy Policy

Kasya estimates walking/running cadence and form from your phone camera and suggests comfort-led shoe matches. Privacy is the product's core design constraint.

What never leaves your phone

• No video is recorded or uploaded by default. The camera is read live on your device as body landmark positions; only derived numbers (like steps per minute) are kept.
• The optional "keep a clip for review" toggle keeps the clip temporarily on your device only and deletes it right after you view it. It is never uploaded.
• Raw landmark motion used for the in-app replay stays on your device and is never synced.

What we collect

• Account (optional): your email address and a password (stored as a salted hash). Guest mode collects nothing.
• Scan results (signed-in users): derived numbers only — cadence, rhythm, symmetry and similar scores — backed up so you can keep your history.
• AI coach chats: your messages and de-identified scan numbers are processed transiently by our AI provider to generate replies. They are not used to identify you.
• Purchases: subscription status is managed by RevenueCat and the app stores. We never see your payment details.

Where it lives

Backend data is stored with Convex (convex.dev). We don't sell or share your data with advertisers.

Deleting your data

In the app: Profile → Delete account removes your account and every scan row we hold, immediately. You can also email us and we'll do it for you.
